INVICTUS APPROVED™ / COLLECTION 02
Sleep & Recovery.
Better sleep. Smarter recovery. Stronger performance. Explore the tools, technologies, and everyday essentials that can support restorative sleep, recovery monitoring, and physical resilience. Evidence Over Hype.
The Recovery Collection
Five areas of sleep and recovery optimization. Each collection will feature products evaluated for scientific credibility, safety, practical utility, and value.
Sleep & Recovery Tracking
Wearables can help identify trends in sleep duration, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and daily recovery. Sleep-stage estimates and readiness scores should be interpreted cautiously.
EVIDENCE: USEFUL FOR LONGITUDINAL TRENDSPrioritize reliable data, comfort, useful trends, and actionable insights. The best device is one you can wear consistently and interpret appropriately.
Temperature-Controlled Sleep
Bedroom temperature, bedding, and thermal comfort can influence sleep quality. Adjustable cooling and heating systems offer additional personalization, although device-specific clinical evidence varies.
EVIDENCE: STRONG FOR THERMAL COMFORT; DEVICE EVIDENCE VARIESOptimize the bedroom environment first. Evaluate advanced sleep systems based on temperature control, reliability, maintenance, noise, and overall value.
Compression & Recovery Devices
Pneumatic compression, percussive therapy, and other recovery devices may support short-term comfort and perceived soreness. Evidence for accelerated tissue recovery and long-term performance benefits is limited.
EVIDENCE: MIXED — SHORT-TERM OUTCOMESChoose recovery technology based on measurable usefulness, durability, ease of use, and price. These tools complement rather than replace foundational recovery habits.
Sauna & Cold Exposure
Sauna use has promising cardiovascular and well-being research. Cold immersion can reduce perceived soreness, although its effects depend on timing, temperature, duration, and training goals.
EVIDENCE: PROMISING, WITH LIMITATIONSEvaluate temperature control, safety, construction, maintenance, and cost. Cold immersion immediately after strength training may reduce some muscle-growth adaptations.
Relaxation & NSDR
Guided relaxation, mindfulness, breathing exercises, and non-sleep deep rest practices can help support relaxation and stress management. NSDR-specific outcome research remains at an early stage.
EVIDENCE: SUPPORTIVE FOR RELAXATION; NSDR RESEARCH EMERGINGPrioritize accessible, repeatable practices before expensive devices. We will evaluate tools based on usability, evidence, cost, and whether they improve consistency.
THE INVICTUS RECOVERY PHILOSOPHY
Recovery Is a System, Not a Device.
Consistent sleep opportunity, regular timing, appropriate training loads, adequate nutrition, hydration, and stress management form the foundation of recovery. Technology is most useful when it helps you build and sustain those habits.
Persistent snoring, witnessed breathing pauses, or significant daytime sleepiness warrant appropriate medical evaluation rather than reliance on consumer sleep scores.
